Folkstyle Pre-Season

Our Pre-Season Folkstyle Wrestling program is thoughtfully designed for athletes in Kindergarten through 8th Grade who are preparing for the intensity of the AAU State Tournament in Iowa and other premier national events. This training block lays a solid foundation—technically, physically, and mentally—for a successful competitive season ahead.

Whether your athlete is new to the sport or sharpening their edge for championship-level matches, our program emphasizes:

• 🥇 Progressive skill development with age-appropriate technique
• 💪 Strength and conditioning to build stamina, mobility, and functional power
• 🧠 Mental preparation focused on confidence, composure, and growth mindset

Competition Recommendation:

To protect long-term development and avoid burnout, we encourage limited competition during this pre-season phase. This allows athletes to refine technique, rebuild movement patterns, and focus on training with intent—without the pressure of weekly weigh-ins or weekend tournaments.

We're here to develop champions for life, not just one season. The goal is mastery, not mileage.

Cost:

• $125 Kindergarten
• $150 1 - 2 Grade
• $175 Boys 3-4, 5-7, Girls 3-7

COACHES:

• Assist Coach
• Room Coach

ROOM PARENT:

• Take attendance
• Assist with door monitoring
• Additional assistance as needed
