AWC Freestyle 2026
Freestyle wrestling is an international form of wrestling, one of three styles instructed at the AWC. This form of wrestling develops attacks to clean finishes as well as more explosive throwing positions in athletes.
Ages
Freestyle Practice is open to wrestlers from 3rd Grade to 12th Grade that have completed at least one year of Folkstyle wrestling.
Grade is based on the grade the athlete is entering, not the one just completed.
When
Girls Practice is in the Orbis High School Girls Wrestling Room on Monday (7:00 pm to 8:30 pm) and Thursday (6:00 pm to 7:30 pm), starting on March 23rd.
Boys Practice is in the Ankeny (Hawks) High School Wrestling Room on Tuesday and Wednesday, starting on March 24th at 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
